So far, So great and grateful!

I bought these earrings as my last try to wear earrings- ever! I am 60 years old. My ears were pierced professionally when I was 14 years old. The other people who had their ears pierced the same day had no issues. I gave up wearing earrings in my twenties and every decade since someone claimed they had the solution to the nasty reaction (painful swelling and oozing within minutes). I put these in 24 hours ago and so far my skin hasn’t changed. Most of the time I forget I have them in. I have an occasional sensation from the holes but likely they’re just adjusting to having earrings inserted after such a long time. I’m awaiting the same in 4mm size to try a 3rd ear piercing I got about 20 years back as another failed experiment. Fingers crossed!
Looking forward to buying a more fashionable style from For Rebel Skin once I have had these sleepers in for a month or so.

Yep. Perfect.

My skin is allergic to most metals including aluminum. So even titanium can irritate, unless it's commercially pure, meaning grades 1-4. These 5mm grade 1 earrings are just great for everyday wear. I sleep in them. If other earrings irritate my ears I put these in, and in a day or 2 I'm all healed. Pretty, polished and the backs fit on snugly.
